The Sentence - Single setence movie reviews

[This project is a continuation of The Sentence blog posts I used to write earlier. I have now given these single sentence reviews a page all to themselves. To see my ratings for these and other movies, do visit my IMDb Vote History page.]

Parash Pathar (1958): If Satyajit Ray ever had a philospher's stone, he didn't bother bringing this movie into contact with it.

Jason and the Argonauts (1963): It speaks volumes of the myth that it can survive a narration such as this.

Beowulf (2007): Before the movie, Beowulf was an unknown, unsung mythical hero - ditto, afterwards.

Aaja Nachle (2007) - bonus review: This is a dance movie with two left feet.

Aaja Nachle (2007): No Chocolat, just the wrapping paper.

Saawariya (2007): Spoiler ahead - and I am referring to the movie itself.
